Bitter Dark Lord Defeated in Raging Street Battles

 The Dark Lord started off with a roaring offensive as millions of zombies/pox walkers assailed the ork forts which guarded the entrance to Ork Town (Morkheim's sole ork settlement). But in battle after battle the superior orky techy-know wots out krumped the numerically superior chaos forces. Within a month's time, the chaos offensive had ground to a halt. Meanwhile Decskull himself made planetfall (or moon fall as it were) and lead the orks to launch a massive counter offensive.  As Decskull's offensive slowly but surely pushed the massive hordes of pox walkers back into the fallen humie city, the Dark Lord decided to shift tactics.  The Dark Lord would lead his best troops into a raid on Ork Town itself. If the Dark Lord's forces could get over the chain linked fence, they could wreak havoc on the orks' fuel,

Update 1 the Chaos Invasion of Decskull's Empire

  Cast of Characters: Orks: Decskull: Goff Warboss of the Ded Ard Shooty Tribe Captain Rot Ear: Free Booter Captain of Da Fleet, an sometimes Ally of Decskull Duo: Upstart Nob that often unsuccessfully challenges Decskull's authority.  Chaos: The Dark Lord: The Exalted Chaos Space Marine Champion and Lord of a Chaos Fleet The Beast Master: Chaos Beastman champion, and servant of the Dark Lord.  The Opening Salvo: Battle Fleet Gothic.  On the edges of the system, a chaos battle group dropped out of warp to transit to another madeville point on the way to invade Imperial space. The Great Rift had isolated so many worlds from each other and so the Dark Lord would find easy prey. However, the chaos fleet encountered Captain Rot Ear's free booter Navy, who were also in the process of trying to leave the system to find new worlds to raid and plunder. Chaos Invades Decskull's Empire

System CRP-1089. A dim radiation blasting red dwarf deep within wilderness space, Ultima Segmentum, north of the great rift. The Imperium believes the system is dead. They are wrong.  Habitable Worlds. 1 moon 1 planet The planet: Inner part of habitable zone. Warm desert like conditions. Later known as BOD by the Orks. Chronically infested by Tyranids.  The moon: Outer part of habitable zone. Later known as Morkheim by the Orks. Chronically infested by zombies. Possible former plague world.  A tribe of orks and free booters settled on BOD that were caught up in a warp storm fleeing a tyranid onslaught. When the Nids followed, the orks held off the onslaught and crippled the hive ships with wave after wave of fighta bombers. The tyranids infested BOD but were forced to retreat from the system. This led a significant number of orks to migrate to Morkheim, where they found bountiful scrap and were able to start rebuilding their fleet which had been mostly destroyed during the tyranid incu
